( Recipe ) Mapo Tofu

If you like sapo tofu and you like spicy food, you might like this mapo tofu.

Let's start ^ ^

You're going to need :

silk tofu / milk tofu (whichever you prefer) >> about 6 pcs (diced)

carrot (diced, about a tablespoon)

ham (diced, about a cup )

chives (cut, about a cup)

garlic (minced, 1 clove)

shiitake mushroom (2 pcs, cut into little pieces )

oyster sauce (about a tablespoon)

crushed red pepper (about a teaspoon)

gochujang / korean hot pepper paste (about a teaspoon)

chicken broth (about 400ml)

tapioca starch (about a tablespoon, mix it with about 2 or 3 tablespoon of water)

salt, pepper and oil

NB : for all ingredients, you can add more if you like

First, cook the garlic with oil until its fragrant then add the ham also crushed red pepper. Cook about 5 minutes then add the carrot and shiitake mushrooms.

Add the tofu. This time, be careful when you stir because if you stir too much, you'll ruin the tofu texture.

So, please be gentle hahaha

Then, add salt, white pepper, oyster sauce and gochujang 

After a while, add the chicken broth. Add the tapioca + water mixture. Add salt and pepper again.

Please feel free to add more oyster / gochujang sauce at this step if you feel like you need it :D

Stir well but be careful with the tofu texture.

Last, add the chives.

After about 1 or 2 minutes, its time to have a meaalll !!

Jang Yi-kyung, the daughter of Jang family, try to find a lookalike impostor to get some revenge because she knows that Choi family wants to sacrifice her. But, turns out destiny lead them to somewhere else.....

There is a little bit of horror in this movie, but they describe it like its a funny either good ghost.

When Na Doo-rim replaced Jang Yi-kyung's place, there is a lot of funny things happen.

Another fav korean drama of mine. I love the story. Sometimes, being a chaebol isn't everything. There is always a price for something that you get. When i watch this, i feel like i must watch the next episode sooonnnn !!! hahahaha

The first reason i want to watch this movie is because of her !

isn't she pretty ?

This is one of my fav korean drama even i feel like the storyline is a little bit too fast. But, i love Choi Hee-jin's character also i feel the urge to watch the next episodes.

(Review) 8 OZ Coffee Studio

Lately, i heard this cafe's name everywhere.

Almost everyone talks about it.

So, here we go.

To satisfy our curiosity.

You'll get this for free and look at that jar !

Some people say their coffee is worth to try so i try their iced cafe latte and iced cappuccino. Love it !

But, for those of you "coffee lovers" i don't think its enough. Its still can't beat Java Dancer's coffee.

Also, i tried their Meat Bagel. 

It taste like Mc* burger. Maybe because of the mustard in it.

Its still delicious though.

This is the-lot-burger.

I love this way more than the Meat Bagel.

They also have smoking and non smoking room in their place which is very convenience. This cafe is worth to try. Next time, i want to try their crispy wings, sandwich or maybe waffle.

( Recipe ) Sapo Tofu

I've been craving this since ages and i'm so happy that i found this tofu.

You don't have to season it first.

Its already has flavor in it.

and its delicious !!!

Let's cook !

You're going to need :

chinese cabbage (i use about 5 leaves)

button mushrooms (about 6 of it)

oyster sauce (about a tablespoon)

onion (about a tablespoon)

garlic (1 clove)

ginger (about 1 cm) 

fish sauce (about 2 tablespoons)

tapioca starch (about 1 tablespoon)

carot (about a cup)

fishball (i use my leftover)

5 tofu (cut it bite pieces)

chicken broth

salt, white pepper, also some oil

First, you must fry the tofu. Don't move it too much because it will make the texture of the tofu wrecked. You can flip the tofu after 7 minutes for each side more less. Then, you're going to sauteed the onion with some oil until they look translucent then add the garlic also the ginger. Sauteed again until its fragrant. Add the button mushrooms, carrot and the stem of the chinese cabbage. Add some salt and white pepper, mix it well.

Pour the chicken stock then add the tapioca starch that has already mixed with a little bit of water.  Also add the fishball. Give some salt, white pepper, oyster sauce and fish sauce. Mix it well.

When its bubbly, you can add the leaves of the chinese cabbage.

I also add some chives to my sapo tofu. If you'd like, you can also use some sesame oil in the end.

Need big courage to do the right thing and take the risk

That phrase is always going through my mind when i watch this drama.

You're All Surrounded ( 너희들은 포위됐다 )

Kim Ji-yong is the child of a single parent. Her mother raised him alone in a small village and as you all know if a new member comes in a small village with single parent issue, sometimes there will be so much rumors about it. But, apart from that, Kim Ji-yong is just an ordinary child that loves her mother so much. One day, there is a cop comes to his house. Turns out, her mother is the only witness of a murder crime and that cop wants her to come to the court. At first, she agreed with that. But, apparently the bad guy knows about it and threaten Kim Ji-yong's mother. If she gives the testimony, then they will kill Kim Ji-yong. Of course then she refused to testify. The cop attempted to persuade her. Kim Ji-yong also said that he feels pity towards the victim. Aanndd she calls the cop and agreed to testify. The bad guy know about it and in the end they kill Kim Ji-yong's mother in front of Kim Ji-yong himself !!! Then they want to kill Kim Ji-yong too !! and the story of revenge begin....

He is one of the reason why i want to watch this movie. In fact, he is not the main character T_T

When grown up Kim Ji-yong become a detective, he has a team mate that has solidarity like brothers and sisters. That is really a plus because all this time Kim Ji-yong is so lonely.

Being a detective is soo hard and time consuming. Some of us might think being a detective is a cool job. At least i do. But its also a very hard job.

They must eat in the car because they're in the middle of an investigation.

Sometimes they must search an evidence in the garbage !!

What a sacrifice

I think this drama is a little bit boring. The first 10 episodes is so boring in my opinion. There is no urge to watch the next episode. But from 11 episodes and up, its getting better and better.

Some people would want other people to do the right thing ( in this case the witness to testify ) but who will take the risk if the risk is their life or someone they love ???

Also as a parents, of course you want to spoil your child because you love them so much buuuttt spoil a child  too much will overwhelmed the child and won't do any good for the parents nor the child.

I'll give this drama 3/5 rate because its boring in the first 10 episodes
